Fuel Alternative LLC

Fuel Alternative is a leading Ukrainian consulting and publishing company in the field of clean technologies and renewable energy.

The company is the organizer of many industry events, in particular:

- International conference "Alternative Fuels" (regularly held in Kyiv since 2006. The first conference on "Alternative Fuels - 2006» Fuel Alternative conducted in partnership with the IFP (French National Institute of Oil).

In 2009, the distinctive feature of the conference "Alternative fuels" was its conducting on board of the ship "Riverest", which for the first time in the countries of Eastern Europe was filled with biodiesel (a mixture of B10).

- Ukrainian Biofuel Forum (devoted to solid biofuels and specialized heating systems, held annually in Kyiv in April).

- Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum (devoted to wind and solar energy, small hydropower stations). During the event in October 2009 in the Ukrainian House the energy supply of the conference hall was carried out by wind generator and solar power station.

-  REF-2010 brought together more than 200 delegates - key players of Renewable Energy market, among them: 

Dr. Anil Shreedhar Kane, President of the International Association of wind power, Dr. Hans-Gunther Clev, Director General of the MOT in Paris, a government supported structure for cross-border cooperation in France,  Jan Michael Knaack, BSW-Solar, Germany, Ivan Varga, Vice-Chairman of the National Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine, Jim Fitzgerald, an Assistant Director in the Ernst & Young Energy and Environmental Infrastructure Advisory practice and others.

1st International Forum of clean technologies in Ukraine ECOSMART-2011. The forum was devoted to the recycling and waste management, water management, environmental management, auditing, certification, insurance, etc. Participants in the Forum ECOSMART, organized by the company Fuel Alternative, were more than 200 specialists from Ukraine, Russia, UK, USA, Israel, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Holland etc.

3rd Ukrainian Biofuel Forum, a key industry event, organized by the company Fuel Alternative, attended by over 180 delegates from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania, Latvia and Moldova. Working two-day program consisted more than 40 reports of key industry experts.

Besides Fuel Alternative publishes CleanTech Magazine (which covers the market of clean technologies) and Alternative Fuels Magazine (which focuses on alternative fuels and energy), as well as www.rencentre.com, www.cleant.info portals.

Co-organizer: Association of alternative energy and fuels market participants (APEU) 

This year the Forum is co-hosted by the Association of the market participants of alternative fuels and energy of Ukraine (APEU). Established in the autumn 2009, the association aims to consolidate the market participants of renewable energy to accelerate the formation and development of the sector of alternative energy and clean technologies in Ukraine, creating an efficient and progressive legislative framework the industry, facilitate the advancement of sales of Ukrainian goods on foreign markets, to protect the interests of its members.
